Our Innate Ecosystem

Introduction: Religion and philosophy are main topics that focus on human happiness and the methods to achieve it. The pursuit of happiness and inner peace is not just a goal but also an effort to sustain it, deeply rooted in human existence and interaction with the environment. "Fırat" can be understood as the innate characteristics with which humans are born, including their ability to perceive and believe in supernatural forces and the existence of a higher power. In other words, it can be referred to as the "faith gene" inherent in individuals. This innate tendency in humans forms a fundamental building block of the relationship between fırat (innate characteristics) and the ecosystem.

The Relationship between Fırat and Ecosystem: The relationship between fırat and the ecosystem encompasses a complex and holistic interaction. Establishing a balance between one's inner world, the relationship with Allah (God), and the physical environment is essential in understanding the meaning of life. If this balance is somehow disrupted, we may inevitably face undesirable problems. Concepts such as harmony, coherence, and equilibrium are fundamental elements of this relationship. By being in harmony with this relationship, individuals can find meaning in their existence and achieve inner peace. Conversely, disharmony can lead to chaos and turmoil, resulting from imbalances in the fırat-ecosystem relationship.

The foundation of our innate ecosystem might be hidden in serving as an interface for the relationship between different energy levels. The interaction between different energy levels could act as an interface to establish new levels, transform existing ones, or facilitate the transfer of information about various entities in different energy levels.

The Elements of Our Innate Ecosystem: The architecture of our innate ecosystem is three-dimensional, comprising of the human and perceptual world. These three dimensions represent the relationship of the individual with Allah (meta level), the relationship with oneself at the spiritual level, and the relationship with everything outside of oneself at the physical level. Embracing these three dimensions simultaneously enables individuals to attain a sense of completeness. For example, their belief in Allah and the effect of this belief on their spiritual world can be reflected in their interactions with the physical environment. Observing and comprehending the natural environment can evoke a sense of connection with their innate belief.

The Three-Dimensional Architecture of Religion: The understanding of religion can be seen as an interface in the relationship between the soul and matter. The thoughts concerning the innate ecosystem gain meaning within an individual's inner world and are reflected in their behavior. However, the interface itself may not always express a clear meaning. In other words, the relationship between an individual's belief, their spiritual experiences, and interactions with their surroundings may not always be straightforwardly understood. Therefore, it might be more accurate to consider the three dimensions as categorical clusters and intersection areas. The interaction among an individual's inner world, religious understanding, and environment can be intricate and diverse.

A New Form of Relationship: In Surah Al-Baqarah (The Cow), Allah mentions that humans are colored with His color and they should declare that they worship Him. This verse emphasizes that humans are included in Allah's created ecosystem and that they can find themselves within this ecosystem. In Islamic literature, various applications concerning how individuals should establish a balance between infinity and limitation have been observed. However, to achieve this balance, individuals must understand and internalize the order and system that Allah has placed within His creation.

The Fundamental Color of Our Innate Ecosystem: Our innate ecosystem has its fundamental colors, scents, times, places, sounds, and purposes. As humans interact with their environment, they come into contact with these colors and senses. For example, while walking in nature, they might see the green of the forest, hear the song of birds, and feel the blue of the sky. These experiences can nourish an individual's inner peace and happiness.

Conclusion: The relationship between fırat and the ecosystem is a broad area that examines the interaction of humans with their natural environment. Research in this field can be conducted from various perspectives, including psychology, religious studies, sustainability, and education. Understanding this relationship can be a significant step towards supporting human inner peace and happiness and contributing to the preservation and sustainability of the natural environment. Further enriching the fırat-ecosystem relationship can be achieved through studies conducted in philosophy, psychology, environmental science, and religious studies, enabling individuals to lead a harmonious life in line with their natural environment.

This text can be considered as a potential research proposal for a doctoral thesis focusing on the fırat-ecosystem relationship. However, conducting a more detailed and comprehensive research would require further literature reviews, fieldwork, and analysis. Nonetheless, these proposed research directions can lead to significant insights and understanding of the fırat-ecosystem relationship.
